What was once little more than a steep, awkwardly inclined area of grass has been completely transformed into a stunning three-tiered garden, creating a series of beautiful and practical outdoor spaces.
A Modern Porcelain Classic
This was a major landscaping project, with the steep existing garden presenting a number of challenges from the outset. To create the different levels, huge volumes of earth had to be excavated and removed from the site before construction could even begin. It was a demanding stage of the project, with the team working tirelessly to reshape the garden and prepare it for construction.
The garden was carefully reshaped to create three distinct tiers, each designed to make the best possible use of the available space while transforming the difficult gradient into a defining feature of the overall design.
Contemporary Walls & Landscaping
A key element of the finished garden is the extensive use of white rendered walls, which provide a crisp, contemporary backdrop throughout the different levels. The clean lines and bright finish complement the porcelain paving beautifully, helping to create a light, modern feel while also giving the garden a strong sense of structure and definition.
Beautifully laid porcelain paving has been used across all three tiers, creating a contemporary, low-maintenance outdoor space with a clean and consistent appearance. The combination of the porcelain paving and white rendered walls gives the garden a sophisticated, cohesive finish, while the different levels add depth and character.

The lower tier has been transformed into a fantastic outdoor entertaining area, centred around a stylish wooden gazebo. Complete with a built-in outdoor BBQ area, television and comfortable seating, it provides the perfect setting for relaxing and entertaining with family and friends. The sheltered space feels like a natural extension of the home and provides an area that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
From the extensive excavation and groundworks through to the construction of the retaining walls, rendering, landscaping and precision porcelain tiling, every aspect of the project required careful planning, skilled workmanship and meticulous attention to detail.
